Here you will find neither lucid prose nor ingenious rhetoric. It’s simply a place where I can put some of my thoughts on paper(ish).
This blog of sorts is probably not worth subscribing to, as I will no doubt post infrequently. Anyway, I now have a little corner of my own in which to express me, myself and I. I’m not the ranting sort, but then we all have our buttons. When my button or buttons are pressed, then I’ll post something here.
Oh, and I promise (half-promise, maybe) that I won’t mention type. While typing this sentence at lightening speed with four fingers, and a cat ensconced upon my mouse (that’s why the damn thing never works — cat hairs interfering with the optical thingy), I’ve just thought that here would be a good place to aggregate all my other stuff. Sometimes, grandiloquently (my spell-checker is telling me that’s not a word) referenced as “one’s social space”, I believe. So, somewhere in the sidebar I’ll have my twitter feed, FFFFound, Dropular, Vimeo, leftover pizza, dirty laundry, et al.
And, as my cat spends about half of her life on my keyboard, I may at times hand the baton over. She’ll probably make more sense. I’ve just quickly read over the above couple of paragraphs, and realised (not to my surprise), that I have said (precisely/imprecisely?) nothing. And on that jejune theme (I’ve been dying to use that word), I march toward the void, look into the abyss, and see …
If you’re the M in S&M, then you might like to subscribe, though I recommend you do not fill your already bloated RSS reader with this vapid nonsense.
This is supposed to be personal, so here’s an inane personal fact: as a teenager (very approximately 10 years ago, give or take a decade and a bit), I used to race BMX. After a glorious run (I came in second on several occasions), I un-metaphorically landed on my face. The helmet’s mouth-guard severed my top lip in two, and left my lower lip severed from my lower jaw … 30-odd stitches and a concussion later, I quietly retired; but not before I jumped two cars with my left arm still in plaster (on hitting the other side, I broke it again). I daren’t have children of my own.
And, why vertical stress? Well, it felt like a good idea until about 15 seconds after hitting the PayPal pay button. I guess you live and (un)learn.

You know what, I think I’ll love your personnal blog as much as your “serious” blog :) For what it’s worth too…)
Cats make very good bloggers. Although we need a little help with the typing sometimes. Damn you, lack of opposable thumbs!
my eyes!
Love the yellow! And despite your warnings, I’m sure plenty of people, like myself, will subscribe :D
Love the domain!
Good choice on the theme! BMXing, a past love of my own. One of which I also quit due to injuring my face, haha. Also, I realized that by the time I’m 40, I will probably need a wheel chair.
Love the theme. I was using this for a bit but it has some bugs I haven’t been able to work out on my own and so I abandoned it.
Whether you like it or not… subscribed.
Zélia: Merci!
Misha: Indeed.
Esben: just for you ;)
Fred: You’re a brave man.
Sebastian: and a snip at $10.
Christopher: was probably you who crashed into me!
If it was “10 years a go minus a decade” I wouldn’t have been born yet :P
Love it sir. But the yellow is making me trip out from staring at it. So write short blurbs! :)
Hernan: there’s a white theme switcher option with this theme. Can’t get it to work for now, but will get it fixed.
Kill Bill theme?
Didn’t want to go back to Redsil? That was a good blog :) And My Kagawa (sp?) was you, too, right?
You have a very witty way with words and I’m sure subscribing will expand my lexicon (off to look up jejune). And Vertical Stress is a typographic term, no?
I must echo Esben, though… oh my eyes!
Funny (albeit painful) BMX story, made me smile and I needed one today. Jumping with a broken arm — you nutter :p
No a big fan of the name but this looks like it could be a fun read once in a while. it is very yellow. i like
Dude!
Vertical Stress??
:)
Yellow with black lettering works great! Good luck with your personal bits & pieces.
Nice! I’m digging the theme and the idea of a more personal blog.
There’s nothing more terrifyingly addictive than writing about nothing. I wouldn’t normally quote people but it was Oscar Wilde who so wisely said: “I love talking about nothing. It is the only thing I know anything about.” I think it a grand idea. I look forward to hearing what Fifi has to say…
Jaypeg: Thanks. & “In matters of grave importance, style, not sincerity, is the vital thing.” — Mr Wilde
